FAQS

Please read my Frequently Asked Questions.

Do I Have To Pay For Beats?

Yes. Unless the beat specifies that it is Free. Using someone elses work unlawfully, without their permission/consent is basic copyright infringement. This can often lead to legal and financial problems as well as complications when uploading/releasing your music. Most producers will ask for an up-front payment, in exchange for one of the multiple different licenses required to use their beats, as well as a percentage split in royalties and/or publishing. This gives the licensee permission to then use the chosen beat, within the select terms of the license they have purchased. Avoiding any potential legal issues and providing peace of mind for everyone involved. All terms and pricing are broken down in full, in each individual license. Please visit the Licensing section of my website for more information.

What Are Beat Licenses?

A beat license is a musical contract granting the licensee permission and rights to legally record over/use the beat for profitable use, within the specific terms of the contract. For example, Distribution, Streaming, Live Performances, Radio etc. Most licenses will typically vary from Basic Rights to Premium, Unlimited and sometimes Exclusive Rights. The terms of the different contract will also vary, often relative to pricing. All terms and pricing are broken down in full, in each individual license. Please visit the Licensing section of my website for more information.

What File Formats Do You Offer?

Depending on the terms of each different license, these formats will range from MP3: 320kbps, Stereo to WAV: 44.1khz, 16-bit, Stereo.
